SAM XT Tourniquet Orange

SAM XT Extremity Tourniquet in orange. The SAM XT Tourniquet is used for temporary blood breastfeeding on the extremities in adults. The compact system is also suitable for one-handed self-use. The bleeding is stopped by a simple rotating motion of the toggle. The toggle is then fixed by the grey Velcro strap. The special locking mechanism ensures the necessary pull on the tourniquet’s dust tape and prevents application errors that can occur mainly due to too loosely fitting dust bands.

SAM XT is now a recommended tourniquet from the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Committee (CoTCCC).
The SAM XT Extremity Tourniquet is designed for fast application and requires less turning, allowing for easier, faster training and intuitive operation.
Relaxation is the main cause of failed tourniquet applications. TRUEFORCE buckle technology locks automatically to prevent almost any suspension of the Tourniquet by locking the innovative base force control and activating the locking pins.
The TRUEFLEX plate made of 100% nylon distributes the force as targeted circumferential pressure and at the same time provides additional support for the metal anchor wind. The Metal Windlass Rod is made from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminium and provides reliable strength and durability.
