The Classic III stethoscope offers excellent acoustic sensitivity for outstanding performance as well as a versatile two-sided chest piece with dual frequency membranes. The Classic III stethoscope use both students and medical professionals to identify, control and analyse the sounds of the heart, lungs and other parts of the body. This is used to assess physical condition, patient monitoring and diagnosis. The adjustable dual frequency membrane technology – an invention of 3M – allows the clinic staff to control the membrane by variable contact pressure of the chest piece so that different frequency ranges can be heard. For low frequency noise, lightly press the chest piece on the patient, for high frequency noise, increase the contact pressure on the chest piece. This time-saving feature allows the treatment person to concentrate more on patients, while the cold protection membrane provides the patient with maximum comfort.
