With modern technology, you can determine your heart rate and oxygen saturation of your blood anytime and anywhere. The measurement starts automatically when you insert a finger (auto on function). The pulse oximeter is recommended for heart and lung diseases to check if the values are within an appropriate range. The oxygen saturation (SpO2 values) is measured in the measuring range of 70 – 99%. It is an important parameter for assessing respiratory function. The measurement range for the pulse is very wide at 30 – 240 bpm.
Athletes and especially mountaineers use our meter to control the oxygen saturation of your blood at altitude. As the height increases, the saturation decreases. Up to 2500 m, no height disease is usually expected. Up to 3500 m, with a saturation of 90%, caution is required. If it goes higher (5800 m) and the device shows values between 80% and 90%, it is necessary to calculate the height disease and a reaction to the position.
Display on screen: oxygen saturation in percentage, heart rate in bpm, pulse column, battery level. The device will automatically shut off after 10 seconds of non-use.
