The Sof Tourniquet Gen 4 is based on its original robustness and longevity, which was the result of a comprehensive research initiative that compiled research and laboratory studies for users. The tourniquet consists of high-strength, lightweight alloy components. Thanks to its construction, the tourniquet can slide over a limb. When the limb is pinned, the tourniquet can be quickly released around the link and closed again without needing to re-thread the strap. Longer toggle The extension facilitates the attachment of the toggle in the clamp and in the triangular toggle fixing and increases the effectiveness of the double restraint system. The conical ends are retained while they are manufactured from a single piece of aircraft grade aluminium rod material to minimise the signature of the product in a tactical environment. Quick-compression buckle The quick compression buckle added to the tourniquet makes it easier to close the buckle thanks to the rounded edges. This also allows for easier one-handed application and a faster application time. Reinforced material The toughest tourniquet has been made even stronger.
